At about the university age of 21, God in his goodness sent his good-looking young servant to call Mathias. Pushed by his quest for TRUE SATISFACTION, and also by the fact that his family worshipped idols and sought protection from non-living gods, Mathias constantly questioned where he could have true security. Although he easily succumbed to the desires of the flesh and even thought at one point that having certificates and getting married would make him a fulfilled man, his life was still characterized by a feeling of emptiness. The incessant preaching and exchanges with the servant of God made him rethink. It was not until Mathias got to Sokoto in Nigeria to study civil engineering that his soul was completely saved for good. Like the story Jonah, God prepared Mathias for a mission as he was seriously and consistently followed up by two pastors till he became the fisher of men God wanted.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”flexslider_slide” interval=”3″ images=”2248,2269,2268″ img_size=”thumbnail750x650″ onclick=”img_link_large” css_animation=”slideInUp”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”RECORDING THE WALKING WITH JESUS FILM IN EWONDO, PIDGIN AND FULFULDE” color=”green” style=”shadow” border_width=”3″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Headsets. Microphones. Soundproof recording studios. What is happening in Yaoundé ?

We are recording the five-part series “Walking with Jesus” used as a discipleship tool in Fulfulde, Pidgin English and Ewondo. This is part of an effort of the Jesus film department to reach people through their heart language. God is using the department to produce great results and basically, it has two dimensions. First, we are translating our products into languages that touch the hearts of the people for evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and church growth. In the Jesus film department, we have the Jesus film itself, walking with Jesus and Magdalena (for women) a special version for children, and many short films. It is joyful to state that when the team went for the community checks, it was clear that some of the people who came on board for language checks finally gave their lives to Christ.

One of the remarkable impact was on the life of a Chief who left the review because it was so difficult for him to cry among the people. Later on one of the key person a pastor found out that the Chief repented sincerely and is now attending a small Church that started after the review.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”nivo” interval=”5″ images=”2199,2249″ img_size=”thumbnail750x650″ css_animation=”slideInUp”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”IT IS WORKING, IT IS WORKING!” color=”green” style=”shadow” border_width=”3″ css_animation=”zoomIn”][vc_column_text]A sneak peek in the establishment of partnerships with churches through the Jesus Film Department.
With lots of excitement, the woman was shouting that the strategy works. What had she witnessed?
In this specific case, Matthias had gone to Abong-Bang to sign a partnership with a church.
On the third day, Saturday, they stopped the training at 4PM to go to the field to test the theory. As soon as they offloaded the 3000 viewer kit, Mathias shared Christ with a young man who was passing, and this young man prayed to receive Christ. Right after that, the young man helped them set the equipment and invited others to come and watch the film. The next day, 20 people attended the church service under a shed.
Now, you can understand why the woman was shouting “It is working, it is working”. The church has a mission of planting 850 churches the villages of the Eastern region this year and in other communities in Cameroon.  In less than 2 weeks, 6 churches have been planted[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”nivo” interval=”3″ images=”2272,2273,2275,2274,2276,2271″ img_size=”thumbnail750x650″ title=”Empowerment for Church growth and Planting”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_cta h2=”PRAY WITH US” h2_font_container=”font_size:14|color:%23b56927″ use_custom_fonts_h2=”true”]
